A dedicated UX metrics methodology
Market frameworks such as HEART and CASTLE, adapted to the company's technology and product reality, with 14 metric categories.
A multinational pharmaceutical company ran digital products with very different users and goals, with no common way to show the value of each one. Sensorama worked with the client's digital experience team to create a dedicated UX metrics methodology, adapted to the company's needs and to its technology and digital product context.
Some products served healthcare professionals, while others supported marketing, field force or internal areas. The metrics in use did not show the value of these products to users or to business areas. A standard market model could not handle this diversity.
Market frameworks such as HEART and CASTLE, adapted to the company's technology and product reality, with 14 metric categories.
Four groups defined by their impact on users, each with its own categories.
328 behavioral and attitudinal indicators, with a prioritized selection to guide each team's choice.
Step-by-step guide, templates and calculators, plus workshops where teams defined the UX metrics for their own products.
Five stages to keep measurement going: ownership, reporting routine, strategy and OKRs, documentation and metric reviews.
The project ran for 5 months in 2024, with 36 interviews. They showed how each team worked and how companies in other sectors measure user experience.
Products were organized by who uses them and who they affect.
By the end of the project, the company had a common way to measure user experience, with UX metrics tied to each product's goals, and a foundation for wider adoption in 2025.
